The Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee of
Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union782 has available applications
for Building Trades and Residential Plumber apprenticeships at its Training Facility
in Seaford, Delaware.

Building Trades Apprenticeships
Applications are closed at this time. Please contact
the training Center at 302-629-3521 for information.

Contact the Union Hall and ask to speak to the Apprenticeship Coordinator for further information.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the time of application
and hold a valid driver’s license and must be 18 years of age prior
to being indentured by the JATC.
To receive an application, copies of all the following documents must be presented .Applications will not be handed out without proper copies of all required documents.

Applicant requirements which must be met
to be considered for an apprenticeship.
|
- Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver's license
(prior to being indentured by Local 782 JATC).
- Birth certificate or other such document for proof of age.
- High school diploma and transcript or high school equivalency (GED)
certificate and official report of test results.
- Military transfer or discharge Form DD-214, if applicable.
- Successfully complete an aptitude test when scheduled.
- Appear for interview when notified.
- Recruitment, selection, employment and training will be without
discrimination because of race, color, religion, national origin or sex.
- Those individuals that are accepted for the probationary apprenticeship will be required to pass a drug test prior to job placement. The expense of test will be paid by the applicant. The Joint Apprenticeship Committee will schedule the date, and location for the drug screen test.
- Applicants must reside in and have been a bona fide resident of the geographical jurisdiction of Local 782 prior to making application. This includes Delaware, south of the air base, Maryland, west of the Bay Bridge, South of the Northern Kent County line and Northof the Virginia line, and all of Accomac County in Virginia.
